چکیده

Mutation of the -yc chain common to interleukin-2 (IL-2). IL4, IL-7, IL-9, and IL-15 receptors has been shown to be responsible for the X chromosome-linked severe combined immune deficiency (SCIOXI). Human SClDXl patients are characterized by an absence of T and natural killer cell differentiation. We report the case of a SClDXl patient who first had few detectable peripheral T cells, then developed, after haploidentical T-depleted bone marrow transplantation (BMT), up to 2,0001pL autologous T cells. These T cells have persisted over 8 years after BMT and were able to proliferate in the presence of mitogens and of some antigens, although

T-lymphocyte differentiation and proliferation in the absence of the cytoplasmic tail of the common cytokine receptor gamma c chain in a severe combined immune deficiency X1 patient.

Mutation of the gamma c chain common to interleukin-2 (IL-2), IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, and IL-15 receptors has been shown to be responsible for the X chromosome-linked severe combined immune deficiency (SCIDX1). DIFFERENTIATION OF MONOCYTE DERIVED DENDRITIC CELLS IN SERUM FREE CONDITIONS

Human peripheral blood monocytes (HPBM) were cultured in the absence of human serum and were converted into a state exhibiting a high accessory function expressed by their ability of supporting lymphocyte proliferation. After a prolonged culture in serum free media the monocyte derived cells were highly viable, increased in size and developed veils and dendritiform elongatio'l1s. Paralleli...

Mesenchymal Stem Cells Do Not Suppress Lymphoblastic Leukemic Cell Line Proliferation

Background: Several studies have demonstrated the immunosuppresive effects of mes-enchymal stem cells (MSCs) in allogeneic or mitogenic interactions. Cell-cell contact inhibition and secretion of suppressive soluble factors have been suggested in this re-gard. Objective: To investigate if adipose derived MSCs could inhibit Jurkat lym-phoblastic leukemia T cell proliferation during coculture. Me...

The Effects of Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (rHuEPO) on Antihuman Lymphocyte Antibodies Titer in Sensitized Rats

Erythropoietin (EPO) was first known as a factor for red blood cell proliferation and differentiation. Recent studies show the effects of EPO on immune system. In this study the antihuman leukocyte antibody (anti-HLA) titer were determined in five groups of rats, which had been sensitized with human lymphocyte. Also, the effects of stimulation's frequency and dose of recombinant human erythropo...

Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte Antigen 4 (Ctla-4) Engagement Delivers an Inhibitory Signal through the Membrane-Proximal Region in the Absence of the Tyrosine Motif in the Cytoplasmic Tail

Cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4) is a T cell costimulation receptor that delivers inhibitory signals upon activation. Although the tyrosine-based motif ((165)YVKM) within its cytoplasmic tail has been shown to associate in vitro with Src homology 2 domain-containing tyrosine phosphatase (SHP-2) and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase upon phosphorylation, the mechanism of negative signaling ...
